1. The proposal needs to re-worked on.
- narrowing down the the area of work. The proposal right now is vast and covers a lot of issues which is not possible to deal with in 3months.
- focus on creating textile surfaces using waste from which garments can be made.
- Kalamkari is itself is a vast subject. Re-evaluate the possibilities of using the technique in the limited time frame of the diploma project duration.New blocks cannot be developed in the time span. Can i use the existing blocks for printing?
- the project is more about up-cycling than re-cycling.
- leave out the vast topic of consumerism and sustainability- this cannot be covered in the limited time period.
2. Discussion with Bina Rao on monday 12.07.2010
- figure out whether the collection will be a one time collection or it will be repeatedly produced.
- who is the the target segment? profile of the client.
- look at the waste that is available.
